Cormica is pleased to announce the appointment of Ben Cliff as Chief Transformation Officer, a newly created role focused on strengthening integration, scalability, and customer experience across the group’s global operations.

Ben brings extensive leadership experience across scientific contract testing and contract research organisations, with a strong track record spanning operational, commercial, and executive leadership roles. He joins Cormica with highly relevant experience supporting growth through acquisition, organisational integration, and platform development within complex life sciences environments.

Most recently, Ben served as Chief Executive Officer of Concept Life Sciences, following nearly eight years in senior operational and commercial roles within the business. During his tenure, he played a central role in scaling the organisation, leading the business through a carve out from PLC to Private Equity ownership, integrating acquisitions, and strengthening its service platform to support long-term growth. Earlier in his career, Ben spent a decade at Intertek, where he managed large pharmaceutical testing laboratories, led major growth programmes, and supported acquisitions across the UK and Ireland. His background also includes leadership of a polymer research business specialising in medical device applications.

In his role as Chief Transformation Officer, Ben will work closely with Cormica’s leadership team to reinforce the group’s operating platform, ensuring that laboratories across regions work together in a more integrated and consistent way. This includes harmonising testing approaches and ways of working across the globe, supporting future acquisitions, and helping to evolve Cormica from a collection of specialist laboratories into a fully integrated, customer-focused organisation.

Outside of his professional role, Ben is also an active outdoor enthusiast who enjoys running, mountain biking, and maintaining a strong focus on fitness.
