Cormica has appointed Kevin Chase as Business Development Manager for North America, strengthening the support available to pharmaceutical, medical device and combination product manufacturers across the region.

Kevin brings more than 15 years of sales and business development experience, including extensive involvement in the life sciences testing sector. Most recently, he served as Business Development Director at Labcorp, where his work included supporting organisations with medical device, biocompatibility and preclinical testing requirements.

In his new role, Kevin will work closely with existing and prospective clients across North America, helping them understand their testing requirements, connect with the appropriate scientific specialists and coordinate projects across Cormica’s laboratory network. His appointment will give current clients an additional regional point of contact who understands the challenges involved in regulated product development. By working closely with Cormica’s expert scientists, Kevin will help clients access the right combination of analytical chemistry, microbiology, physical and packaging testing, biocompatibility and regulatory support.

For manufacturers approaching Cormica for the first time, Kevin’s industry experience will support clearer project scoping from the outset. This consultative approach will help clients identify suitable testing strategies, anticipate potential challenges and access specialist capabilities across different laboratories without having to manage multiple testing partners.

Cormica’s North American network currently includes TPM Laboratories in New Jersey, specialising in pharmaceutical analytical development, quality control and stability testing, alongside Focus Laboratories’ microbiology facilities in Pennsylvania and Florida. Clients can also draw upon complementary expertise across Cormica’s laboratories in the UK and Germany.
