Cormica Bradford History
The Bradford laboratory began life as Agenda1 Analytical Services, co-founded by Simon Bristow and Ian Siragher to provide contract analytical services for the pharmaceutical sector. It later became part of Concept Life Sciences, which acquired Agenda1 in 2015.Â
During this period, the site developed close ties with Malvern Panalytical, enabling the introduction of a wide range of advanced physical characterisation instrumentation and strengthening its expertise in particle analysis, solid-state testing, and materials science. Over time, the Bradford facility evolved into Concept’s analytical centre of excellence, with investment in new space at Listerhills Science Park to expand its capacity and capabilities.
In November 2023, Concept Life Sciences formally transferred its Bradford analytical chemistry business to Cormica, aligning the lab directly under our testing services network. This transition included the full transfer of employees, ensuring continuity of expertise and operations at the Bradford location.
Now under Cormica’s stewardship, the Bradford lab adds critical analytical strength to our group, enabling us to deliver more integrated and streamlined services to our clients.
